busy bee

School has started back again syllabuses' have been downloaded, notes taken and books purchased.I have been completely swamped with school, campus' and church .This semester I feel like I have more work to do then last semester so I have been stressed trying to keep organized.

But in other news my mom has come to visit for the holiday season all the way from sunny Angola!
Its been nice to see her and have the entire family together. She has also reminded me of why I miss her so much.

ALSO

I found this picture and hopefully it will help all the other stressed out university students relax!

Getting my educated.

its snowing its blowing
spanish class is boring ,
I want to bump my head not wake up till the morning
This is the rhyme I thought of as I sat sleeply in spanish at 8:30 am  desperatly wishing to be in the comfort and warmth of my bed only a few feet a way.
At last the Christmas decorations  have been taken down hangovers from new years eve fixed and the new semester is upon us.
I'm specifically excited for this because I love starting over especially in school because it gives me a chance to better my self and now that I have had some experience in university education hopefully I can have a better semester then the last.

the wonderful courses I am taking are as followed:
  • Spanish
  • Cultural Studie
  • Women Studies
  • Intro to Canada: Global Prospectives
  • and Values in Society ( Philosophy)
Also I refuse to have 8:30 classes ever again.

So heres to a fresh start and Good Luck to my fellow students out there!

New Year,New Adventures.

So 2011 is here! And another year of adventure and mischief ends and begins .I’ve decided to start this blog to keep my family and friends updated on the many adventure I hope to have in the next year.
Currently I am in 2 second semester of first year at WIlfred Laurier University my program is Global Studies with a minor in Cultural Studies.I’m currently the community Rep for my residence(Bouckaert). I’m a part of two campus groups ARK (act of random kindness) and Future of Africa. I’m also a teacher at my church. So as you can see my days are busy and usually involve me attempting to juggle reading, lectures, meetings, skype dates with my family and napping while trying to keep a some what healthy social life.
I have a lot of things planned for 2011 including my trip to Ghana in June and being a Don second year.So welcome to the beginning of my excellent adventure, I apologize in advance.
